Prayer & Fasting for September 2015
Prayer Focus: Every morning, as soon as you rise out of bed, pray for 15 minutes or longer. After you pray, do a morning devotion (study/read the Word) for 30 minutes or longer.
Fasting Focus: Don’t eat or drink anything during your prayer and devotional time. Afterwards, fast one meal – breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Do this each day. (If you need to eat food when taking medication, please eat a little bit of something.)
“Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed.”
“O God, You are my God; early will I seek You; my soul thirsts for You; my flesh longs for You in a dry and thirsty land where there is no water.”
“With my soul I have desired You in the night, yes, by my spirit within me I will seek You early.”
FASTING WITHOUT PRAYER IS JUST DIETING!!
During your prayer and devotional time:

*Separate yourself to a quiet place away from distractions
*Confess your sins
*Affirm the Word (verbally say you believe what God says is true)
*Worship God
Much prayer and fasting, much power;
little prayer and fasting, little power;
no prayer and fasting, no power!!
